Why this Chichen Itza tour is private

A cheap Chichen Itza tour from Cancun is a 40-person coach, a late gate, and two stops that are not on the brochure. You get the pyramid after the site is already full and hot. Our van is your group only. Pickup is early so you walk the plaza while it is still quiet.

The rate covers the private air-conditioned van, a licensed bilingual guide, Chichen Itza admission, a cenote swim, and a simple regional lunch. Drinks beyond water, souvenirs, and an Ik Kil upgrade are not included. Gratuity is optional.

From Cancun or from Playa del Carmen

Cancun Hotel Zone pickups run roughly 6:45–7:30 a.m. Playa del Carmen is later because you are already closer to the highway west. Tell us the hotel when you book so the window is real, not a guess.

Climbing El Castillo is not allowed. Anyone promising the top of the pyramid is selling a different decade. You walk the site, the ball court, and the temple of the warriors with a guide, then you swim.

Chichen Itza private tour vs bus, from the Hotel Zone or from Playa

Chichen Itza private tour vs bus is the decision. The shared regular seat is $170 per adult, taxes included. Premier shared is $190. A private vehicle for 1–6 is a different total. Send the headcount on WhatsApp before you treat the per-person price as the van.

A Chichen Itza tour from Playa del Carmen starts later than a Hotel Zone pickup because you are already south. Same highway west, less time in the seat. Hat, closed shoes, swimsuit. The cenote is on the way home.
